Zootility Tools makes the worlds thinnest multi-tools that fit in your wallet. It started in 2012 with the PocketMonkey, a 12-in1 multi-tool launched on Kickstarter. Since then we have sold over 500,000 units through thousands of retailers and built out our line to over 100 SKU's. All products are designed, sourced and manufactured in the USA with the majority of manufacturing taking place at our headquarters in Portland, Maine. What began as an offer to run Zootility's social media accounts became a three year career, encompassing many roles including sales, business development, manufacturing, digital marketing, and sales process management. As the third employee of Zootility, I played a leading role in growing the company to more than 15 employees and being sold in over 2,000 stores worldwide including REI, EMS and Nordstrom. My primary responsibilities at Zootility Tools were Trade Shows, Key Account Sales and Marketing.

Crowd Solar is a solar financing company that matches individuals who are interested in investing in solar energy with community institutions able to benefit from the investment. Through our online platform, we aggregate funds from donors and investors to fund a solar array on a community building of their choosing. The building receives solar panels at no upfront costs, and investors are paid back as the system generates energy. We enable everyone to financially benefit from renewable energy while fostering a cleaner and sustainable future for our planet.

At 13 years old, my life changed when I knocked on my neighbors door and asked if I could mow his lawn for $20. Eight years later and a Senior in college, I was still mowing his lawn for $20. The difference was that it now took only 1/4 the time because I had reinvested in better and faster equipment.From this I learned self motivation, how to grow a business, and that starting or working in small business was the place for me. I also grew to love the feeling of coming home exhausted after a hard day's work.
