Essential Functions: Serve as a positive mentor to OT members. Have the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously. Work closely with a team of therapists, coaches, and staff in a treatment team format and participate in monthly supervision. Meet individually with members as needed (minimum of weekly) for coaching around treatment goals as defined in their individualized Family Agreement (i.e.- education, etc.). Develop comprehensive experiential learning programs with the Program Director and Clinical Director. Serve as a primary experiential conduit for members to explore and achieve academic goals (i.e.- planning, registration, accountability formats for checking grades, etc.). Plan and lead twice monthly Saturday group activities. Manage apartment consults as directed by program coordinator (minimum every other week). Cultivate relationships with educational service resources (colleges and universities, adult ed., technical training, etc.). Assist with daily operations in the Pine House and Hay Suite office space (coverage, meals, cleaning, light yard work).

House Advisor/Crew Leaders serve as mentors to residents in their recovery of esteem, direction, and well-being through the Ranch's advising team model. Responsibilities include living and working alongside residents, leading the wide variety of tasks that keep the Ranch running through every season of the year: care of the farm animals, working in the garden, bringing in hay, shoveling snow, chopping wood, pressing apple cider, building furniture, producing maple syrup, clearing trails, and helping with the ongoing tasks of cooking, cleaning, sewing, and repairing. House Advisors/Crew Leaders also plan and participate in a variety of fun recreational activities and trips.

Program Leaders’ primary responsibility is the protection of students when they travel. They facilitate life-changing experiences that leave our students inspired, humbled, and drawn to action, while ensuring that we’re having a positive impact on the people and communities our students interact with.Program Leaders participate in all of the amazing experiences listed on our itineraries.
