Christopher L. Biddle is an environmental underwriter at Beazley USA. Utilizing his 30 years of environmental industry experience, 23 of those in environmental underwriting, he is widely recognized for formulating creative and innovative solutions to address his clients’ complex environmental risks.With strong technical, problem solving, and management skills, Chris has consistently achieved success in creating effective environmental insurance solutions for his clients throughout his career.In particular Chris has extensive experience in addressing environmental risks associated with real estate transactions and real estate portfolio owners. In addition, Chris has broad experience in providing custom insurance policies for his industrial, commercial, real estate, lender, and contractor clients, using environmental products such as Pollution Legal Liability, Real Estate Lender’s Policy, and Contractor’s Pollution and Professional Liability policies. Prior to joining Beazley, Chris was a Regional Manager at XL Catlin for 18 years. Prior to that he was an environmental consultant for 7 years where he held positions ranging from staff scientist to project manager, where he was responsible for all aspects of investigation and remediation projects for large petroleum marketing clients. Chris obtained his B.A. in Environmental Science from Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, PA. Additionally, he achieved an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.
