Facilities Management Solutions are a Milton Keynes based provider of building management solutions. Working with customers in various business sectors in and around Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire & surrounding areas. Part of the PGS Group alongside Plumbing & Gas Solutions Ltd

Responsible to the Director, and with overall business management the key role is to lead, manage and oversee all employees ensuring all aspects of our services are delivered in line with statutory regulations & good practice, to agreed performance & customer satisfaction targets and within agreed budgets.Key Accountabilities: - Monitor & manage the day-to-day operational management of the team across all business areas of all related activities- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and feedback are attained for responsive and planned works- Monitor workflow & liaise with staff to ensure maximum productivity & efficiency is achieved- Support the Director in planning to ensure the business is adequately resourced.- Identify skills gaps in staff and liaise with the Director to address these gaps.- Supervise staff to ensure everyone is performing adequately in their role.- Provide leadership to support and motivate staff to achieve identified goals.- Ensure key performance indicators are in place and work targets are met.- Promote high standards of customer care within the team and with external partners. - Undertake quality control checks on all staff to ensure working practices are compliant with Gas Safety Regulations, and key performance indicators. - Manage budgets and costs effectively in respect of the planning process.- Review and implement new policies and procedures as required and to ensure compliance across the team in respect of H&S legislations. - Ensure that each member of the team demonstrates high levels of knowledge relating to relevant regulations and provide regular updates through Tool Box Talks as required. - Monitor all operations and make recommendations to maximise economy, effectiveness and efficiency.

Overall responsibility for the generation & execution of new commercial sales leads, business improvement initiatives, project execution, tender submissions, supplier management and customer / office management. Additional duties have included securing accreditations with CHAS & Constructionline, with a continued focus on H&S development within the business, the implementation of new operating procedures to streamline efficiency and service levels, involvement with an aggressive recruitment drive, onboarding with the Worcester Bosch Group (Domestic & Commercial Boilers) as a Gold Star Accredited Installer and secured strong working relationships with key clients including councils, universities, many local businesses and large secondary schools.
