Iron sharpens Iron. Effective coaching relies on a solid relationship between the coach and client. Our job as coaches is to help facilitate this relationship through learning and understanding our clients. Together, we sharpen and enhance our skills, giving us the competitive edge for success. I am a performance coach that has worked with clients from an eclectic background (Sports, Music, education, and Business). My coaching style focuses on creating change through effective relationship building and performance testing under pressure. First, we need to identify the mechanics of what we are working on. Then, once that is established, we have to test these mechanics under pressure; it is with the pressure that we can grow and become more than we were. This only works once trust is built between the coach and the client. For me, the relationship is critical for my process. The more people you have in your corner, the greater your likelihood of achieving your goals.
