I currently work forecasting advertising oppourtunities being sold on Scripps Networks Digital Sites with specific concentration on the Food category. I work with the Scripps (Food Network, Cooking Channel, and Food.com) content and sales marketing teams to analyse past site traffic metrics along with current delivery conditions. Other key contributions are:• Forecasting Impression delivery for the Food category event and TV convergent advertising oppourtunities.• Constuct Post Mortem reporting for ended package offerings advising content and sales on the results pertaining to the delivery and revenue of the offering.• Create Business Objective reporting to monitor package delivery against the forecasted delivery toward advertiser impression goals.• Make recommendations such as reallocating impressions and constructing subflights to ensure delivery of advertiser impressions.

This was a great opportunity for me because it gave me the ability to apply the knowledge that I gained from the recent completion of my finance degree along with my strong analytical skills. I had the freedom to analyze, develop and implement new processes that improved profitability, forecasting, financial reporting, inventory management, and other aspects of operations. I consistently received high scores on my annual performance evaluations from my managers based on overall accomplishments and performance. This position was really critical in developing my experience in inventory analysis, inventory control, inventory management and project management where I was able to develop and implement a large number of process and procedure improvements that directly impacted company profitability. I also was able to develop additional operations management experience overseeing all aspects of the inventory, shipping and receiving department. Some of my many achievements included: • Improving daily operations, including bill of materials, item master maintenance, work order creation, parts issuance, and forecasting project part requirements to support production demands. • Using Microsoft Project to manage production resources, control inventory levels, and maintain production schedule. • Reducing inventory from $3.1M to an annual average of $850K through extensive analysis and resolution of inventory accounting process and reducing “in stock” inventory.• Serving as a core member of the JD Edwards MRP implementation team responsible for ensuring system compatibility with procurement, inventory, and production process flow. • Designing and implementing a system to document inventory transitions made in JD Edwards to meet government audit agency requirements and support internal audit activities. • Creating and implementing a daily inventory cycle count program that improved accuracy from 85% to 98%.• Identifying $500,000 of inaccurate project costing transactions and supporting the Information Technology group in correcting the JDE system.• Setting up the company’s new Vendor Managed Inventory program, a consignment inventory system that ensured product availability and reduced perpetual inventory balances/costs. • Awarded a certificate and bonus for my role in completing the Duke Power Projects on time and under budget.

I developed a strong base of management and leadership experience in this position managing all Quality Assurance activities for this hazardous robotics manufacturer servicing Department of Defense and municipal law enforcement agency clients nationwide.
