Drove the video production, video editing, and motion graphics of a customer testimonial on the City of Mobile, AL, highlighting our work as a technology partner for the city government that became the cornerstone of sales presentations. Developed a product video and case study on our partnership with Cisco to create IoT solutions for the Alabama DoT’s Alabama Service and Assistance Patrol program, which uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to improve program efficiency. Interviewed customers, sales team members, customer success managers, software engineers, and c-suite personnel to find and tell the stories of how C Spire provides technological solutions for customers, focusing on the story elements that make C Spire different from competitors. Partnered with the creative team, copywriters, and brand strategists to create paid social, organic social, display advertising, print advertising, and landing pages to promote case studies, testimonials, and product videos by providing digital assets, story insights, and statistics that would engage and educate the customer on all steps of the customer journey. Working with the CEO and CFO, developed internal communications videos around quarterly highlights, company achievements, and yearly vision plans to inform employees of company goals and inspire employees to reach departmental milestones.

• Worked with agencies and production companies, reviewing proposals for production work and ensuring the company was getting quality work and streamlining production which resulted in about $20,000 in savings per production.• To educate members about primary care, I created educational content and advertising campaigns highlighting the Blue Primary Care Home benefit available to members, with more members choosing a primary care physician and leading to better healthcare outcomes.• Mississippi had historically low rates of natural breastfeeding, so I created an award-winning content campaign centered around interviews with experts throughout the state to educate pregnant women and their spouses about the resources and healthcare benefits available, resulting in an increase in benefit usage by our members. • Created a high-energy promotional video to highlight the Get Ready to Run program, increasing school participation in the children’s 1-mile fun run.

Producer '@ISSUE' MPB's weekly legislative show. As Producer for '@ISSUE,' I booked guests from state representatives to political activists, collaborated with the Executive Producer on editorial content, and scheduled and conducted field interviews with experts from across the state. I edited news packages, focusing on a balanced view of the issues, created motion graphics, and communicated with live field crews, establishing shot locations and framing and coordinating toss to field reporters.

Producer 'Southern Remedy' MPB's monthly medical show. As Producer for 'Southern Remedy,' I coordinated and scheduled crew and talent for field and studio productions, edited news packages, created motion graphics in Adobe After Effects, booked and conducted interviews and telephone pre-interviews, wrote scripts, and researched show topics. I acted as Executive Producer for the 'Southern Remedy' episode on prescription drug addiction, wrote all scripts, conceptualized the story arc of the show, and directed the show through all phases of production to airing.

“Southern Remedy” is an award-winning medical news program which focuses on topical medical issues including West Nile Virus, prescription drug addiction, children’s sports injuries, body-building, nutritional supplements, and trauma. As an editor for “Southern Remedy,” I worked with the Executive Director, selecting best takes from stand-ups, editing interviews in Final Cut Pro, selecting b-roll to cover edits, sweetening audio mixes, and inserting music beds. Worked with the art department animator to create an After Effects template for episodic promos. Color-corrected footage to ensure proper white-balance and made sure video levels were within legal range.

“Fit to Eat” is a healthy-cooking show, shot in-studio with multi cameras, including a jib and an overhead, locked-down camera and includes breaks for promos and segments highlighting farmers’ markets and local businesses.As an editor for “Fit to Eat,” I captured footage from each of the 4 cameras, edited in multi-camera mode in Final Cut Pro, and mastered each show to tape with color bars, slate, and run times. Inserted graphics as-needed, including lower thirds, website, and social media bumps.

Producer/Director for 'Fit to Eat,' MPB's healthy-cooking show (2 seasons). As Producer for 'Fit to Eat,' I oversaw the budget, negotiated contracts with talent and contract/freelance workers, researched healthy cooking/eating trends and topics, wrote scripts, and facilitated promotional campaigns to raise brand awareness. I assign packages to segment producers, approve scripts for segments, and work with segment producers to ensure final edited package maintains brand message of healthy living. During live-to-tape filming, I managed time to ensure shows stayed within guidelines, dropping segments or adjusting scripts as necessary. Leading a live production crew, I proofed on-air graphics with the Chyron operator, coordinated with tape room ensuring pre-taped packages were ready for air, and collaborated with studio audio team for music selection and microphone placement.

Served as Producer for many live and taped specials, including two live-to-tape, on-location special episodes of Fit to Eat, filmed on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Producer 'Mississippi State Spelling Bee' live event. As producer for the MS State Spelling Bee, I worked with the Mississippi Association of Educators to create a live production of the statewide spelling bee.Spearheaded several campaigns in conjunction with the Foundation for Public Broadcasting, helping to bring in $100s of thousands of dollars in underwriting. Director of the live production of 'Quorum' MPB's longest-running show which focuses on politics in MS.Produced, directed, and edited the special: 'MS Roads: The Choctaw Journey' a compelling documentary about the MS Band of Choctaw Indians.

As co-creator of the short film 'Going Toward Love,' I developed the script with the writer and director. I attained financial backing for the film. I managed a 20+ person crew in the field, with equipment - jib, dolly, generator. Film won 'Best Mississippi Film' at the Mississippi International Film Festival. I coordinated with city officials and local police department to control traffic on a major overpass during a daytime shoot and compiled and distributed production books, shoot schedules, and call sheets.
