We decided to have a lifestyle change when I turned 40 (who says mid-life crisis are a myth?) and buy a cottage by the sea, on the north east coast of England. During my time at Dupont, I create my first intelligent system called OSCAR (Online Statistical Calculation Analysis and Reporting). The system was designed to spot sharp and gradual trend changes in a lithographic printing plate facility in Leeds UKThe system successfully ran for a number of years with cuts in rejection costs estimated into millions of pounds.
