My focus is the sustainable transformation of projects, businesses and supply chains. For me sustainability is less a cost than it is an opportunity to contribute positively to asset value, strong communities and healthy ecosystems. I work closely with my clients, colleagues and the industry at large to develop opportunities to integrate sustainability into the built environment and deliver regenerative solutions.As as Sustainability Group Manager for Northrop I work with a wide range of clients to deliver sustainable buildings, precincts and infrastructure in Melbourne, but also Australia wide. I'm also the Chair of Northrop's Climate Action Taskforce, helping build the organisations capacity to deliver a carbon neutral and climate resilient built environment.I have experience in leading the delivery of sustainability services and sustainability teams for many projects including the The YARDS (Kemps Creek NSW) - Australia's first industrial estate to achieve a 6 Star Green Star Communities v1. 1 rating, The Avenue (Melbourne VIC) - a multi-unit residential development targeting Passivhaus certification and Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (Bradfield City Centre, NSW) targeting Living Building Challenge and Green Star Buildings certification. Previous projects have included University of Melbourne's New Student Precinct and Ian Potter Southbank Centre, Monash University's Woodside Building for Technology and Design, Melbourne Park Redevelopment and Australian Embassy in Washington D.C.A recognised sustainability thought leader in Melbourne, I bring people together within projects and industry groups to share knowledge and work collaboratively to drive sustainability innovation.
