I handle the day to day operations for multiple customer networks along with special projects.

Managed phone systems and data networks for various customers. Designed, implemented and maintained ShoreTel VoIP systems for customers. I assisted the salesman in demoing the ShoreTel system and answering technical questions. During the consultation, I would gather information regarding current setup and needs to implement the design of the system. I was in charge of upgrading the data network and servers of our customers. I would be the first to evaluate new products before introducing them to customers.

Managed phone systems for customers ranging from Erie Insurance, Freemarkets (currently Ariba), West Penn Health Systems. Worked to integrate the phone systems into existing data networks. Designed, implemented and maintained AVAYA PBX systems. Setup and maintained data networks and servers for customers. I was also the company's salesman. I had the opportunity to work with video surveillance, automation, wireless LAN, and cell phone repeaters. I was responsible for the company becoming ShoreTel authorized and sold several systems, of which, I designed, implemented and maintained. For a span of six months, I ran the day to day operations of the company while my boss dealt with health issues.

I began setting up PC's to customer specs. After six months, I began working toward getting Novell Certified. Once certified, I moved up to the networking team were I maintained and implemented customer servers. I then earned my Microsoft MCSE certification and started working on integrating Microsoft servers into Novell network environments. I also installed Cisco WAN networks between customer sites.
