Started out as a retail salesman for six months and moved around the company doing other jobs such as delivery driver for store to store and also delivering for the commercial/professional accounts. I was promoted to management after a two years to Retail Sales Specialist which is the title given their. After six months of being a RSS I was promoted to the Assistant Manager position. The store that I worked at in Cincinnati, OH was what they call a Super Hub store that employed over 40 employees where I was the assistant manager. The Hub store also contained a corporate office as well that had offices for the Vice President of the east coast region, the Regional Manager, the District Manager, and the Head of Outside sales Dept. all of which I know personally.

I was put in charge of Leading the Sound Ministry Team at my local church where I learned to work with Sound Equipment and did Live Audio mixing on a weekly basis. I worked as a volunteer there every Wednesday and Sunday running sound for the worship team's practices and main church service. As the Sound Engineer there I did live sound checks for the worship team as well as run sound for the Sunday services. I was a part of running sound for various community outreach events and activities in the church. This was a great learning experience for when it came to working with a band on a one on one basis every week while and gaining new skills in Sound Engineering. Another thing I learned was to adapt to situations whenever the church went out into the community and required live sound as well as production management of those events. I enjoyed this experience a lot and I plan to use the skills I learned in my time with La Viña Cincinnati and apply them to my everyday life and in my future career as a Recording and Audio Engineer.

During High School I volunteered after school for 2 hours each day as an office assistant. I answered phone calls, filed paperwork, organized paperwork, entered documents onto a spread sheet.sorted and filed mail, and created flyers for upcoming events. Although it was not a paying job I did learn a lot about how an office worked and how to use applications in Microsoft Offices like Word and Excel. I also learned to interact with different people coming in and out of an office and assisting those that called in as well. Overall I enjoyed working as a volunteer at my local church and learning new skills as early as High School. I also learned responsibility because I had to show up twice a week every week at my scheduled time because there was someone depending on me to show up. It was a great experience that has taught me skills that I am still able to use today.
