Senior Product Manager
CurrentA working Senior Product Manager, managing a team of five Product Managers, for Verizon's IP Contact Center product family, specializing in enterprise sale of North American toll-free numbers as well as global international freephone and UIFN numbers. Leads, motivates, and coaches Product team. Serves as the point of escalation for issues and roadblocks encountered. Evaluates the performance of individual Product Managers biannually. As a working Product Manager, defines the product roadmap throughout the product's lifecycle, and builds business cases to prioritize and fund enhancements and related initiatives. Acts as Product Owner to define user stories and UX vision/wireframing, and collaborates with global IT and engineering teams in PI planning, backlog grooming, and iterative agile sprints to turn the vision into reality. Documents methods and procedures, and evangelizes the final product to stakeholders and sales. Solicits feedback from sales and customers to improve the product features and functionality. Participates in industry events and contributes to telecom industry organization collaboration. Leads the effort at Verizon to ensure strict compliance to the FCC toll-free regulations and best practices. Owns the product; has a buck-stops-here mindset.
