Contracted to Nortel Networks/Bell Northern Research for over three years. Architected and implemented the self diagnostics for the IRTU, a sub-processor of BNR’s AccessNode product used to test line cards. Improved both functionality and style of the interface code for the pSOS operating system used by the IRTU.Worked with a team of designers to implement.

Developed and maintained real time software for integrated hardware control systems used to test the Space Shuttle and associated components for launch readiness using GOAL, a proprietary language used by NASA.Reduced GOAL development time from two days down to minutes by creating a compiler; runtime engine and debugger, using C on a UNIX.
