At Fandango, we focus on the User Experience as a strategic advantage for our products and services. My goal is to be constantly improving in our core disciplines of User Research and User Centered Design. We work hard to ensure all of our teams get regular and timely feedback from actual customers on both new and existing products. We take our in-depth knowledge of the Fandango customer and apply it to a design process that is committed to achieving the highest quality in the most efficient manner. We collaborate early and often, we sketch constantly, and we value quick prototypes and customer feedback over extensive specs and documentation.

For four years as UX Director I dedicated myself to helping launch one of the largest initiatives in the history of the Walt Disney Company -- My Magic Plus. As the lead creative for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online, it was my job to help create a seamless experience that started online the moment you booked your trip to Disney World. The multi-channel, multi-platform experience we created included a totally new web site and ios apps with new branding and all new creative assets. To give you a sense of the magnitude of the project, we planned photo shoots that took over a year to complete!! Perhaps my favorite achievement during that four years was a complete reimagning of the iconic park maps for the digital age -- now running on top of Google maps, I think they are truly amazing and I'm so proud to have been a par of it.Professionally, this project spurred me to transition to a totally new and agile way of working. Our creative team of 30+ people had to deliver assets to scrum teams across the globe and there was absolutely no way to get all of the design for such a massive undertaking right up front. In addition, I learned a tremendous amount about working with partners and managing vendors. Along the way I help revise our entire creative structure to support a global style guide to ensure alignment across diverse teams.

As Director of Creative Development I led a cross function team of over 50 comprised of UX, Visual Designers, Content Strategists and Copywriters. Our team was responsible for all creative deliverables supporting over 30 web sites, including disneyworld.com, disneyland.com and disneycruiseline.com. I was directly responsible for performance tracking, job titles and leveling as well as strategic planning and process improvement initiatives.

I managed a team of 10+ Information Architects, UX Leads and Interaction Designers.

While at Kore I managed two projects. One of them, an intranet reporting app and a social media web site. From design to implementation the reporting app was a beauty. The less said about the social media site the better.

Arc is where I paid my dues and learned that I was, truly madly deeply, a User Experience professional.

Webmaster stuff. Mostly I spent my time trying to keep the website up to date, and explaining to various faculty and student groups why this was important.

I worked with HTML and Javascript to create web sites for various projects. I was the lead developer for the web site for What Dreams May Come. I think we're all glad that's over.
