As part of a six-person team, developed websites displaying financial data, news, media, and billing to support the business side of a law firm. React.js, Hooks, Node.js, and Responsive Design were the primary aspects of this role. Also, I collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, backend teamwork, debugging/unit testing REST APIs, and coordinating in an Agile environment. ● Implemented McDermott Search, an internal document search to solve a frequent problem attorneys had: remembering where they saved their documents (iManage, OneDrive, other document repositories). This React.js app improved lawyer’s productivity by cutting search time down by half. ● Updated YourSource, a news, media, and financial data website to assist lawyers with coordinating similar cases thus improving collaboration and finishing cases sooner.● Performed architectural design discussions and mentored less experienced developers.

UI development from inception to production of a React app that would offer Texas Abstracts of titles of a real estate property. The final report would be in a form of a PDF for the user. This app is hosted as an Azure App Service and was developed using ReactStrap library (a merge of React and Bootstrap). Node.JS, and Express was leveraged for the report processing engine as well as Azure Queue Storage. Revenue was increased for our system as we are actively trying to capture more market share in Texas and more users have signed up for licenses. • Participated in the on-premises migration of infrastructure to Azure. We were the first division to be 100% on the cloud saving around $186,000 a month on infrastructure costs. • Created build and release pipelines for CI/CD within Azure DevOps for various projects. This saves the Software Change Management group time with previously lengthy deployments and reduced human error. • Developed a robust solution using InRule (Business Rules Management System) to move off an existing paid service and bringing it in-house. After migrating to Azure and going to production, the sales volume increased by 40% and order processing time decreased from 45 minutes to 10 minutes, per order. • React with Material UI for a simplified user on-boarding system. The concept is similar to cell phone plans, “Basic, Standard, Premium, etc.” The app uses C# Web API, a SQL Server backend, and leverages Azure App Services, App Registrations, MSAL (Microsoft Authentication Library), and Azure Active Directory for authentication/authorization. Role-based access control (RBAC) was also used to restrict user access based on roles setup in AAD. Azure Files was used to store the model users in JSON format. • React with Material UI for a new product codenamed, QH. • Lead an offshore (India) team on an ASP.NET MVC order processing web app.

Assisted in an emergency project influenced by changes in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) rules called CDx. It’s a Closing Disclosure application written in MVC 5.0, Razor 3.0 and consumed by several desktop apps as a single-page web application. I’ve helped stabilize the project to a point where customers would have accurate data and they were able to place orders successfully after the existing development team left abruptly. • Assisted with three other developers to write a new accounting and reporting ASP.NET website called MyTrustLink.com based on an existing desktop application. It was reported that this new website improved productivity among users and receiving quicker releases was welcomed; desktop changes would take a long time in the past. • Created a heavy traffic WCF Service called PayPort Central that helped process new credit card orders, recurring payments, and created profiles to store credit cards within Chase Paymentech. This became a corporate standard and used across multiple applications within this division as certification with Chase was difficult for other divisions to accomplish. Instead of each division getting certified, they would just use my WCF service saving roughly 1-2 months of certification time. Created a WPF application using Telerik controls for the accounting department. Before, the department was making manual transactions within Paymentech’s website. However, the month￾end automation sped up their productivity to almost instantaneous saving the group many hours to do other tasks. More demand for the application started and more groups have been added to it for the same month-end processing.
