Lance Corporal, Section 2i/c (since 2009) • After completing the Combat lnfantryman's Course at the lnfantry Training Centre Catterick, I joined the First Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers in June 2005. I have been based in Germany and in the UK whilst serving in the Army and have also deployed to Poland, Canada, The Falklands and Bavaria conducting arduous training• I have also deployed on operations to lraq and Afghanistan. 3 x Operational Tours• I was initially employed as a Rifleman • Subsequently in an lnfantry Armoured Fighting Vehicle Gunner• I deployed to lraq in 2005 and 2008 where I conducted foot and vehicle mounted patrols• ln 2009, I successfully completed a promotional course • Then moved to X Coy as a Section Second in Command where he administrated 8 men• I then moved to the Senior Company within the Battalion, Fire Support Company.• During his time, I was employed in the Fire Support Group (FSG) • I deployed to Afghanistan as a Battlefield Casualty Replacement with Z Company~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
