+ Oversee the end-to-end product life cycle management for premium human-grade pet food items,including market analysis, trend identification, and competitive landscape comprehension.+ Develop and implement multi-year category strategies and business plans aligned with the long-termcorporate strategy and company operational objectives.+ Collaborate with the CMO to oversee the strategic product roadmap, product development, launches, and marketing, ensuring optimal utilization of each product for maximum benefit.+ Establish and manage the annual product development budget, implementing a monthly review andadjustment system while managing product development budgets ranging from $500K to $1M.+ Work closely with the sales team and retail partners to identify key business catalysts, acquire insights for product innovation, and implement operationally efficient initiatives to maintain consumer loyalty.+ Build and nurture partnerships with co-manufacturers, overseeing their development process prior totransitioning to Operations for ongoing maintenance.+ Lead routine Steering Committee meetings to review crucial product timelines; operations, address pertinent inquiries or challenges, and progress through the company's stage gate procedures for approval.+ Direct innovation platform initiatives in collaboration with an external agency to craft a 3-year pipelinefeaturing near-term and visionary solutions guided by consumer and competitive insights.
