I am a resourceful problem solver, comfortable stretching outside my comfort zone and have a track record of quickly acclimating to dynamic roles in varied environments. I lead by example and expect nothing from my team I wouldn’t demand of myself. I strive to be a servant-leader, encouraging teams to consider a diversity of perspectives, actively listening to their ideas and needs, and building a culture of trust and stewardship. I relish the opportunity to work with business and technology partners in setting strategic direction and galvanizing cross-functional contributors at all levels into cohesive teams that ensure effective program execution and delivery of customer commitments and financial results across the full product life-cycle.My career has progressed from Design Engineer through engineering Project and Program Management roles, to leading business enterprises with broad project portfolios and now, supporting the Sr. Director Programs with business planning, and improvements to program management methods and rigor.I am the first born of four to parents who challenged my siblings and I to live up to our natural abilities and strengths, taught us to be fully accountable for our actions and humble in our acceptance of consequences. My father is my role model. He taught me perseverance and grit (working full time while taking night classes to obtain a Bachelors degree in Accounting), hard work and sacrifice (working two jobs when financial pressures demanded), and how to do more with less while maintaining balance (acquiring the knowledge necessary to perform high-quality home maintenance ourselves, and applying the cost savings to important strategic initiatives - like the annual family vacation). The foundation of my leadership principles were formed while earning the rank of Eagle Scout. I obtained a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering after joining the Army National Guard and applying my service benefits to tuition, fees, and student loans, while working a four year paid Co-op to cover the remaining costs. Thirteen years later, I earned a Masters degree in Engineering Management. This involved two and a half years attending alternating weekend classes at The Tufts Gordon Institute while working full time and being a husband and father to my wife and twin sons.I encourage you to contact me at any time for networking and career development opportunities. The wicked leader is he who the people revile. The great leader is he, of whom the people say“We did it ourselves.” -Lao Tzu
