I am a Principle Mechanical Design Engineer with Depixus in Paris France. I have a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and undergraduate degree in physics. I have, and continue to develop, in-depth knowledge of how to smartly and efficiently use CAD(SolidWorks) for design, Product Data Management (PDM), Finite Element Analysis(FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). I have an understanding how to analyze tolerance stack and use elements of GD and T to produce a better product.My years of experience in scientific research in various fields including laser science, UV instrumentation testing, Antarctic atmospheric science research, non-linear optics and atmospheric ozone science research, have helped make me a more versatile and well-rounded engineer able to find unique solutions to difficult problems.I believe it is essential to be a dedicated team member while also being comfortable in taking initiative and working independently in all aspects of my work. It is equally important to have comfort and skill in interfacing with all internal and external stakeholders of design and production processes.I take pride in my careful and diligent work in design (CAD), engineering analysis, prototyping, and hands-on production. Furthermore, I enjoy and thrive on the challenges of critical thinking, attention to detail and creativity that engineering demands. My love and passion for being a design engineer has in turn contributed to my desire to be life-long learner.
