Hired to be the Regional Risk Solutions Director for the Northeast. I occupied this position for 1 year until being promoted. During this time, I had 10 direct reports in New England and upstate New York. The region has 6 profit centers driving middle market, inland marine, and small commercial business. • Manage 10 Risk Solutions consultants in 6 profit centers across CT, MA, ME, NH, & NY.• Engage & collaborate with underwriting directors to best utilize limited loss control resources to write, retain, and service over $225M in middle market and inland marine business.• Manage account status through communication with underwriters and UD’s with business acumen. • Led team to improve performance as measured by key metrics such as: o Implemented processes to ensure 90+% referrals up from only 16% from previous manager. o Improved production from 98% to 114% based on FTEs. o Recommendations issued by staff increased 192% with 214% greater closure YOY o Realigning talent to best utilize skills and strengths to match the business need of the region.

• Managed 6 loss control consultants for the Maine profit center.• Coached loss control consultants to develop and improve their understanding of business acumen, hazards and controls, leading and lagging indicators, being a trusted advisor, and use of systems. • Provided marketing and risk management service to high value accounts. • Managed two segments of business with over $20,000,000 in premium for loss control strategy and execution.• Developed and maintained budget.• Key contributor to process, product, and QR development for loss control. Achievements:• Coaching, feedback, and one-on-ones led the team to a 42% to 82% greater survey production and the generation of 60% to 118% more recommendations per LC rep with the highest annual audit scores for last 3 years compared to other profit centers.• Developed a web based quality review process used enterprise wide.• Enhanced proprietary software system and documentation integration to improve staff efficiency and communication enterprise wide, resulting in projected reoccurring annual savings of $242,375. • Provided consultative risk management services to high value & high hazard property accounts, as well as surveys of all other lines of business.

During this period of time I worked loss control consultant with multi-line account responsibilities as well as specialization in property, GL, and commercial auto. I also provided Loss Control Services to large clients and completed special projects.Achievements:• Developed loss control business plan for writing loggers of limited premium to increase policies in-force while providing effective loss control service and • Managed LC service for the summer camp book.• Provided risk management guidance for underwriting and client which lead to premium increase of 56%, incurred loss reduction of 90%, and incident reduction of 49% in 2011 over prior years. • Led department in production.
