Responsible for creating the Maryland State Police Tableau Center of Excellence and managing the Tableau deployment. I have assisted with training Tableau developers as well as end users of the dashboards. Multiple public and private dashboards have been developed to assist the Maryland State Police to understand their data and become more data driven. I have 22 years of law enforcement experience and over 18 years in IT for law enforcement. Began developing law enforcement applications. Developed an application for all Maryland law enforcement agencies to use for issuing traffic citations, warnings, and repair orders. Continued to develop multiple components within the application to assist law enforcement with their day-to-day activities on the road. Some other components are crash reporting, field interviews, and miscellaneous data collection forms. Along with the development of the application, I have also managed the development section utilizing SCRUM as the agile development methodology. This team included managing developers, DBA's, BA, and QA personnel.Experience in Tableau creating data visualizations related to law enforcement data to make better-informed decisions.
