Media relations for high profile UK event, which annually attracts over 70,000 visitors. Role included building relationships with media contacts, publicising show to relevant (and differing) audiences, formulating a new-media strategy and strengthening the event's position as a market leader.

Reporter for Powys County Times, a regional weekly paper based in Powys, Mid Wales. I was responsible for a number of district pages, as well as news-gathering across a large news patch. Duties included court reporting (magistrates and crown), council reporting, working with contacts and generating consistent off-diary articles. It was with NWN that I completed my NCTJ Print Journalism qualification at Glyndwr University.
