Hi, I’m Chris, and my journey as an entrepreneur and father has been shaped by more than just business milestones—it’s been defined by personal experiences and a deep commitment to mental health and mindset.Throughout my career, I’ve faced significant challenges, including bankruptcy in my first business. Those experiences taught me that while building a strong financial foundation is important, the real key to success lies in how we choose to view life’s events. We can either focus on how far we are from our ideal outcome, which can make us feel heavy and frustrated, or we can look back at where we started and celebrate how far we’ve come, which enriches us and motivates us forward.This mindset shift—learning to celebrate our progress rather than dwell on perceived shortcomings—is something I believe in deeply, both in business and in life. It’s a mentality we must instill in our children, too. If we teach them to see the progress they’ve made, they’ll discover new levels of happiness and resilience.As the founder of The Finish Line Group, I’ve made it my mission to help entrepreneurs not only secure their financial futures but also build legacies that reflect their values. I’m passionate about guiding business owners through pivotal transitions, helping them turn life’s challenges into opportunities to create lasting impact.My commitment to mental health advocacy, especially for young people, comes from the deepest part of my life story. Losing my daughter, Maddie, to suicide in 2015 changed everything. Her memory drives my work in youth mental health, supporting families and empowering kids to recognize their emotional journeys. I continue this work through initiatives like How Are You Feeling, where I serve as an Advisor, helping others understand that celebrating small victories can change lives.At the core of my work—whether with business owners or in mental health—is the belief that by choosing the right mindset, we can transform not only our outlook but our entire experience of life. It’s my mission to help others, especially young people, find that perspective, build resilience and live purposefully.
