Pertech is a German ink supplier supplying K&E products to the East Coast territory. Inplant Manager at Unimac GraphicsUnimac Graphics is one of the most premier and well known printers on the east coast. Their innovative process and diversity of printing has made them one of the most competitive printers in the market. Managed 3 employees in a 24hr operation.Scheduling presses for upcoming jobs.Work with estimating department to ensure the Unimac's estimating is accurate on large jobs.Worked very closely with high-end designers, Calvin Klein, Estee Lauder, Elizabeth Arden, etc on pre planning for jobs. Worked with VP of manufacturing on a daily basis, coming up with new cutting edge ideas, how to save jobs after the printing process, discussing pre-planning of difficult jobs. Handling all billing and ordering of materials.Troubleshooting all on-site press issues.KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTSJanuary of 2010 single handedly was awarded all of the ink business at Unimac Graphics resulting in 1.5million dollars in sales. Installed a self sustaining ink room with 3 employees.Helped design a job for Estee Lauder for their Christmas promotion of 2009.Developed and built formula software exclusive to Pertech Printing Inks. Custom presentations to the sales force at Unimac to help give tools to sale more jobs.

With ink systems I started at the age of 17 learning color theory, how to match colors, troubleshooting printing press issues. With the leadeship of Urban Hirsch, Bruce Potter, and Rusty Church I became knowlegable in all facets of printing. In 2004 moved to the East Coast to be inplant manager at Sandy Alexander.

Responsible for hiring and training all new employees. Managed 7 employees within the operation. Interacted with all departments within the printer including upper management and sales. Handled all research and development work on difficult jobs. Set detailed responsibilities for each employee and goals for them to accomplish.Implementing new products on press, assuring runnability, and making changes when necessary.Implemented procedures both to the ink room and the printer to maximize efficiency.
