He leads the Building Services Department of BDP's Dublin Studio.Many of his projects have been accepted as international exemplars of sustainable design. He has published over 40 articles on sustainable design including a number of research papers that promote the concepts of first principles design. This approach is founded in the belief that true engineering is not limited to repeating the best concepts from the past, but includes a consistent desire to improve on them.
