Responsibilities include operating and maintaining the McAfee Host Based Security Suite, patch management through Microsoft’s System Center Configuration Manager, and network vulnerability assessment through eEye Retina scanners. Combined vulnerability identification with patch deployment to eliminate 30,000 network security concerns.

Implemented change management for the AF enterprise to ensure changes to the environment were properly documented and tested prior to implementation. Championed the inclusion of ITIL fundamentals within Air Force IT practices, which was adopted across the Air Force network.

Responsible for the day-to-day computer network support for 120 users. Directed help desk operations, managed network security updates, and led the telephone maintenance team.
