Oakville, On

I helped to manage the Corporate Training Center. In addition to maintaining an operating, busy restaurant we were also responsible for the training of every Boston Pizza franchisee from East of Ontario. We were able to set a new sales record for each of the 3 years I was there. Boston Pizza was where my enjoyment of the restaurant industry began. It's also where I found I was good at bookkeeping, a skill that has carried me through much of my career.

South-Eastern United States

For one season I was a linesman in the East Coast Hockey League. I lived in an apartment with 2 other officials in Columbia, SC and traveled around the South-Eastern part of the United States officiating professional hockey games.
