Happily occupy the niche between high performance computing (HPC) and discovery oriented scientific research - both on-premise and in IaaS clouds. Client base ranges from large .gov & Pharma clients to tiny stealth-mode startups needing to bootstrap their initial company infrastructure. A long time supporter of free software and open standards for life science research, I was a founding member of the Bioperl Project and co-founder of the Bioclusters mailing list.
