I am currently the Creative Director at CAMBITION, a Cambridge (UK) based organisation, empowered to drive the Digital Presence and Online Marketing aspects of the business services range. Throughout my tenure with CAMBITION, I have procured significant new business and successfully built a more robust client base, establishing positive customer referrals, greater brand exposure and repeat business from our esteemed clientele.

I volunteered three months of my time and energy at Greenpop, a Cape Town (South Africa) based tree planting and eco-educational NGO. During this period I personally planted over 150 trees and participated in mass planting days, co-ordinated educational activities and became a critical member of the core team. It is a joy to see that, almost two years later, many of the trees I have planted are literally starting to bear fruit.

Throughout my tenure with Beechdale Energy I was fortunate to work within a very dynamic time for the burgeoning UK Renewable Technology sector. Having applied as a humble designer to develop brand building advertising, I swiftly became a vital member of the core team, working on project management, budgeting and as the go-to solution for technical and marketing challenges.Furthermore, I learned in great detail the technology, procurement, government incentives, politics and subsidies for Solar PV, Renewable Heating, The Green Deal and Wind Turbines. I was something of a character at the company as I insisted on not using my car and cycling everywhere, demonstratively being 'seen to be green'. A real highlight of my time at Beechdale Energy was coordinating a 600 mile charity cycle ride from Cambridge to West Wales to raise awareness and money for The Gambian Schools Trust.

Throughout my career at TAG I developed a breadth of engaging and compelling printed material; from publication advertisements and sales collateral (folders, brochures, leaflets, exhibition design etc.) to FMCG packaging design, most notably New Covent Garden soups.In addition I have generated motion graphics, UI website content and Eshot campaigns for esteemed clients such as May Gurney, Northgate Arinso and Scotsdales Garden Centre, not to mention designing and managing the production of two commercial websites (Slumberland and Foster Refrigerator – both market leaders).Renowned in the studio for my conceptual thinking and wit, I derived great pleasure in seeing how my creativity added value to the brands that I serviced.

As my first exposure to the design and marketing industry, I earnestly and rapidly expanded on the skills ascertained at Degree Level in a very demanding working environment.

I was invited to lecture on the First Diploma, National Diploma and BTEC Foundation courses. Delivering subjects such as Art, Graphic Design, Web Design, Photography and Information Communication Technology (with Business Studies), at the end of my first year I was nominated for an Outstanding Achievement Award for the exceptional pass rate of my students.
