Chris Dampier is a British-born music professional based in Los Angeles, CA. He is currently Vice President of TuneCore Publishing, where he oversees publishing rights for independent artists and songwriters.Before joining TuneCore, Chris was Director of Film, TV and Visual Media at Broadcast Music, Inc where he signed composers, songwriters and publishers to BMI. In his native England, he held positions at Access to Music, SoundCloud and Cayman Music. He moved to Los Angeles in 2011 to take a position on the licensing team at Universal Music Publishing Group before moving to independent record label CMH Records, Inc. where he oversaw the label’s licensing operations. Chris is a graduate of London College of Music and University of Westminster. Chris proudly serves on the Independent Publisher Advisory Council for the National Music Publishers Association and is a member of the Association of Independent Music Publishers, Guild of Music Supervisors and a voting member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame
