Irrespective of whatever you’re trying to achieve, everything is driven by people. I’ve always been passionate about understanding what motivates people, how to engage with them, and how to retain employees. Historically, I’ve always managed to maintain very low attrition levels. I do this by constantly engaging and interacting with all levels within my business units, as well as working with them to help them realize their career goals.On the technical side, I’m always interested in learning new technologies - especially if it helps me improve the efficiency of the businesses I manage. In April 2020, I was certified as an AWS Cloud Practitioner. I proactively pursued this certification to better understand the possibilities, limitations, and pricing structure of the platform which one of our business applications was built on.On the business side, I’ve worked with various projects such as: Acquisition integration, transition of a traditional phone system to a VOIP system, migration of a physical server to AWS, and web application redesign. I’ve also worked closely with different groups (such as sales, marketing, and finance) to consistently show overall growth in conversion rate, retention, and net income across all of the businesses that I’ve managed.Additionally, I’m a Certified Scrum Master - which allows me to work with technical teams more easily, as I understand their schedule, backlogs, as well as their overall mindset in a way that makes for operations to proceed in a smooth and timely manner.
