My role as a Data Engineer on the Risk Exchange Data Platform team is to implement and maintain a diverse set of cloud resources. I am currently building data processes in AWS by leveraging AWS Lambda, Docker, Python, SQS, & Event Bridge to send data to Snowflake. We focus development on full automation and testability by leveraging Terraform and Cloud Formation and automated builds/tests running Github Workflows/Actions.Previously. I was part of the Platform Architecture team where we worked together to administrate Databricks in Azure, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory. All code was housed in AZ Devops and deployed using AZ Devops pipelines. I also acted as a DBA for Azure SQL Databases. In addition, I developed data processes using Databricks and restful services using FastAPI with Docker or Azure Functions.
