# ABOUT MEPersonally I try to operate as authentically as possible. Years ago I realized that somehow I was attracting the wrong people and experiences I wanted in my life. This was likely due to how I present myself and the energy I am putting out into the world. Today I try to live as authentic and honest as possible to attract people and opportunities that best align with who I am and not waste anyone's time.Personally, I am not a super outgoing person but I do value community, friends, and family and cultivate strong relationships with those at work and close friends. I’m into nature hikes, cooking healthy and not so healthy treats, chilling out with a good video game or movie, and continuous learning with personal demos and projects. My mind tends to go very fast which helps me cope and move fast in high energy environments so with my downtime I like to try and take things a bit slower.# AT WORKAt work I am driven and crave challenges that require me to build upon what I already know to find solutions to the problem. My superpower if I had to label one is my adaptability. I consider myself a good developer not strictly because I write good code but because I am capable of being put into situations where I have little to no experience and can find quality solutions on the go. I am a self starter who will look for ways I can help out and contribute even if it happens to be slow.# WHAT I AM LOOKING FORI’m ideally looking for a position with an employer who values my adaptability and is comfortable with allowing me to learn and grow to meet the needs of the work at hand. I would prefer to stick with as much frontend work as possible to continue refining my craft but I have experience working on the backend with APIs and databases as well and am comfortable taking on a mixed role.# WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MEYou can expect a lot of hard work from me. I am the type of developer who can work fast and dirty if required to get out an MVP of something but value taking their time to research and implement a quality long term solution when time permits. I am constantly seeking how to grow and write better code that is reusable, testable, and performant. My strongest languages are the frontend trio of HTML, CSS, and javascript.
