Currently, Mr. Donaldson is a Managing Consultant in the Communications sector of the Customer Transformation practice within IBM Consulting working on projects for companies in the Media & Entertainment, Telecommunications, and Energy & Utilities industries. Mr. Donaldson serves as Project Manager and previously Requirements & Testing Team Lead for a global, multi-lingual, and entitlement-driven re-platform of a sport streaming platform to aReact/React Native and GraphQL platform serving users on Web, iOS, Android, tvOS, andmore. He managed the end to end process for analyzing, tracking, and once developed,testing the client's functional requirements and designs. After the re-platform, he has managed and tested the build of an AI Search feature. Some of his key activities are below:- Managed all financial and administrative activities including forecasting, invoicing, on-boarding/off-boarding, weekly reporting, etc.- Assisted with the creation and prioritization of development tasks- Facilitated the creation and execution of 6,000+ functional test cases- Led the discovery, documentation, prioritization, and triaging of 1,000+ bugs to resolution- Created and presented overall Testing Strategy and Process documentation- Helped setup and facilitate the use of the project's Agile software, Jira- Trained, educated, and led up to 3 team members located in different locations includingthe Baton Rouge CIC

Mr. Donaldson was the Test Lead for four unique application builds for a Western Utility client. He managed the scope and execution of testing for all four releases of the project (Notifications, iOS andAndroid Mobile Application, Agent Desktop, and Tech en Route).In this role, Mr. Donaldson managed 3 on-site testers, 5 off-shore testers, and assisted theclient's UAT test team of 10. He created an overall testing strategy, detailed test plans foreach release, managed 6 Jira projects, and communicated testing status and escalatedissues to project leadership. Mr. Donaldson managed the preparation, execution, andreporting of API, Functional, Performance/Load, and Automation testing.3,100+ test cases written1,600+ defects tracked and triaged to resolution550+ defects written7 go-lives4.7 rating on iOS app storeIn addition, Mr. Donaldson led 120+ daily technical stand up meetings with the client,subcontractor, and IBM teams. My first project was a next generation Android and iOS mobile app build project for one of the largest worldwide concert and entertainment show promotion companies. My second project was a full digital transformation involving cloud and legacy data management systems, micro services, web, and mobile for one of the the largest parks and resorts companies in the world.My third role was performing business process design for an advanced metering implementation.

As a part of our first REET trip, we partnered with a local non-profit CEPIA and an American ex-pat to give away 550+ articles of clothing to Costa Ricans in need in San Ramon, Huacas, and the surrounding areas of the Guanacaste region.

Throughout the summer, I served as a liaison to the 14U, 15U, and 17U National Team Championships team contacts. A large part of that responsibility was providing administrative support for the National Team Championships by gathering rosters, forms, answering phone calls, etc. After extensive planning and preparation, our team of traveled to Jupiter, Florida to execute the 14U/17U National Team Championships tournament consisting of 60 teams from across the country. Apart from the Championships, I contributed to a variety of the operations within the other departments of USA Baseball, including National Team programming, community relations events, merchandising, travel services, etc. I also worked on the paperwork, travel plans, preparation, and operations of the 15U National Team trials and training at the National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina

Starting in the fall, I will oversee both Woollen and Fetzer Gyms on my shifts to ensure the smooth operation of daily and special events. I will be training and working closely with other building supervisors. I will also aid in the hiring and training of our shift workers.

I oversee operations at both Woollen and Fetter Gymnasiums during my shifts. Tasks include supervising roughly 7 other student employees, executing event set ups, monitoring the buildings, and handling any emergencies.

I distribute equipment, determine admittance status, maintain facility cleanliness and functionality. Answer phones, and file accident reports and guest forms.

I am currently organizing the 3rd annual expo, which will include professional sport, college sport, and health/fitness panels, a keynote speaker, and a career fair of 20+ companies, teams, and associationsI am leading and delegating tasks to an exec committee of 6 VP’s and a core committee of 15+ students to make this event a success once again. We are hoping to draw 200 or more sports and fitness students and professionals to Chapel Hill for this years event.

I worked on a group project estimated to save $750,000 worth of time while improving capacity tracking in the RTP office. My daily work included completing commercial loan fundings, account reconciliations, and interest release forms. I also gained industry knowledge through training sessions, webcast conferences, and job shadowing.

I will be going on a two week study abroad immersion to Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa with a group of about 20 other Kenan-Flagler Business School students. During our time there, we will be visiting companies such as Citibank and Ogilvy & Mather. We will also be visiting the African Leadership where we will interact with students. In Cape Town, we will be interacting and aiding local entrepreneurs with their ventures. We will also get to enjoy the culture in South Africa by visiting Robben Island, Mandela Square, going on a game drive, and watching a rivalry rugby match.

As a part of the outreach wing of the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC, these initiatives will work to collaborate, study, and recognize major advances in the sports and sports business industries through projects and events. Under the direction of Dr. Joseph Desimone and Dr. Deborah Stroman from the Frank Hawkins Kenan Institute, myself as a part of a twelve person undergraduate team will work to accomplish these tasks over the course of the next few years with assistance from UNC MBA students and ESPN.

I helped ensure an awesome game day atmosphere and experience for season and suite ticket holders at various UNC athletic events by supervising admittance and service.

My job was to keep the current balance and budget of about $5,000 for my college residential community as well as handling check reimbursements for events. I also contributed event ideas to the community government and assisted with execution.

My job was to help recruit companies in the sport and fitness industries to attend our first ever CSFE at UNC. I also assisted in the day of planning for check in and the career fair. I will be leading the event in the coming years and hope to make it an annual event.

I helped kids with disabilities play and enjoy the game of baseball in a safe, monitored environment.
