As the Marketing Manager for all campaigns and creative production I am responsible for the management and strategy of three distinct areas of the marketing department.Working with our appointed creative and media agencies I am responsible for the planning and delivery of a year round calendar of campaigns of varying size and channel mix. This encompasses everything from initial concept creation, consumer research, creative production through to overseeing delivery to media owners for play out. There is also an ongoing need for a mix of functional and emotionally led photography and video shoots in order to supply the other brand and digital marketing teams with up to date and relevant imagery and video for the brand website and different CRM programs. In line with the campaign and brand strategies another key area of oversight is the strategy, content creation and measurement and reporting of social media. The function of the social media channels is to support and articulate the key brand messages of the Center Parcs offer with relevant, engaging and creative content that is suitable for the different social media platforms. The third area of this role is also the largest in terms of direct line management with the running of the in-house creative services studio with a seven strong creative and production team. The creative services team provide support for all head office and village teams producing a range of print and digital collateral covering seasonal village events, new leisure and F&B launches, promotion of on village activities and guest signage and way finding. This year round broad and varied stream of creative briefs require a diverse range of creative skills and streamlined studio management in order to take business challenges and present stakeholders with creative solutions that will engage and excite our guests.
Brand Campaign Manager
Sitting in the Brand & Creative team at Center Parcs, this role requires me to draw together my experience - and expertise - in all areas of advertising to implement the creative vision of the Center Parcs brand. I manage the brand’s relationship with our lead creative agency. I manage (or personally execute) the smooth and timely delivery of all Center Parcs campaign assets. This ranges from working with creative agencies and directors to produce three multi-million pound national television commercials and sponsorship idents for national broadcast, as well as executing dozens of video adverts (for YouTube pre-roll and paid social advertising).I manage the creation of dozens of pieces of static advertising creative - either through agency teams, our in-house design studio or - when tight deadlines require it - by myself. I use these assets to build out an intelligent, agile campaign suite that has both creative integrity and commercial efficacy.As the business champion for campaign creative, I co-ordinate and collaborate with other managers and teams to ensure it is delivered through the line, represented accurately in business areas such as internal communications, catalogues and guest experience.A large part of my role is around stakeholder management - securing buy-in and sign-off of top-level advertising creative. I’m comfortable presenting my work to senior stakeholders, justifying my approaches with solid research and breathing life into big data, in order to blend art and science for different audiences.
Senior Media Planning Executive
As part of the media and acquisition team my responsibility is the planning and delivery of a number of seasonal multi-channel brand awareness and direct response campaigns. This includes the management of the media budget to ensure that year on year we are spending our budget on channels and formats that will deliver reach, cut through and performance. On a daily basis this involves working directly with our media buying agency to develop cost efficient and effective media strategies to deliver our messages throughout the year as well as continuously monitoring and understanding channel performance and audience behaviour.
