As the Senior Manager of Marketplace Growth & Pricing at Convoy, I led the Deal Desk and Strategy teams to achieve significant milestones and growth. We delivered a revenue run rate of $300M in 2020, innovated our pricing mechanisms, and refined our team structure for enhanced customer-centric outcomes. My focus was on fostering collaboration, leveraging data-driven insights, and maintaining marketplace liquidity to drive success and growth

I played a pivotal role in laying the foundations for our Deal Desk team, leading its expansion from 2 to 15 members. Working in close collaboration with sales teams, product teams, data scientists, and operations, we innovated pricing strategies that yielded substantial results and led to the largest shipment award in Convoy's history.

I was responsible for the growth and development of a multitude of aviation products. I worked closely with finance, sales, and company executives to analyze our current portfolio and pitch future billion-dollar business ventures. I built complex excel models, conducted in-depth market research, and advised executives on the financial viability of business opportunities by presenting pricing strategies and future financial statement walk-through’s. I gained valuable exposure to a startup culture in a fast pace environment that prioritizes results and problem solving.

Responsible for the conducting the valuation of potential commercial aircraft acquisitions by analyzing aircraft condition, airline credit, discount rates and contractual terms. I work closely with senior management to help derives strategic investment decisions based on the expected present value of the lease income and the capital gains on the sale.

In my third and final rotation in the FLDP program, I am the financial lead for a portfolio of projects in the intelligence community.It is my responsibility to support the five year business plan by forecasting Sales, GM, Cash flows, earnings and funding. I also work closely with the program managers to provide up to date estimate to completion (ETC) and make recommendations on how to execute the program.

My second rotation in FLDP program was as a pricing analyst in the Electronic Systems sector. During this year I worked with the Operation Proposal Group and capture teams to analyze and understand the section L and M customer request for proposals(RFP). The highlight of this rotation was the preparation and submission of the billion dollar cost volume for an Air Force F-16 retrofit RFP. My responsibly included analyzing our competitiveness relative to the price to win and to updating our financials to reflect any change in the scale/scope of our bid. Additionally, in different proposals I was responsible for aggregating the recurring labor Basis of Estimates using parametric and analogous estimating techniques.On the program management side, I analyzed the impact of Make vs Buy decisions to determine the G&A absorption impact on manufacturing strategy.

In this first rotation I supported the accounting and tax department by utilizing enterprise systems such as iPortal, Oracle ERP, Discoverer, and Microsoft Office Suite. I worked closely with accounts payable and supply chain to lead an initiative in cleaning up problematic purchase orders.I also developed a process enhancement to automate the analysis of $500 million worth of advanced payments.My day to day responsibilities included the preparation of the following financial data;the corporate tax return (R&D tax credit, Long term contracts, and sales apportionment) as well as quarterly business review forecasts, account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews and ad hoc audit support.

Atkins Investment group is student run mutual fund that manages over $150,000. During my tenure with the group I started as the lead analyst in the healthcare sector. It was my responsibility to present companies with the most growth opportunity. After a year I was selected as the Chief Economist and the Vice President of Operations. In this leadership role I analyzed the demographic, political and financial/capital market trends in the economy in order to present the strategic quarterly asset allocation to the group. Additionally as a Vice President, I taught new members how to utilize absolute valuation models (Discounted Cash Flow, Dividend Discount, Residual Income) and relative valuation models (P/E, ROE, P/FCF, EV/EBITDA etc.).
