I started in the A/E/C industry, in 1990, working for a local structural engineering firm as a junior CAD technician. I’m a firm believer that leadership and learning go hand-in-hand. 25+ years of constant learning ultimately led to the role of executive vice president and chief operations officer. My business acumen comes from many firm operational roles including marketing and business development, financial oversight, business operations, and overseeing IT needs.My passion to serve as an educational advocate drives me to stay abreast of industry-related trends and to regularly present and speak on a diverse range of topics. I have delivered presentations and educational seminars to the Society for Marketing Professional Services, American Council of Engineering Companies, American Institute of Architects, and American Society of Civil Engineers at the chapter, regional, and national levels.
