I provide CAD services to Texas Instruments for all of their North American Design and Sales sites outside of Dallas Texas as an independent consultant. These services include space planning for office and electronic engineering lab design and space allocation.

• Project Manager and Test Center Designer 2007-2009I provided the project coordination for TI’s new Tucson High Performance Analog Design Center. This responsibility involved being the liaison between the property owners, architectural consultants, the world wide facilities group in Dallas TX and the design engineering management groups in Tucson. In Addition I provided the schematic design for the class 100,000 10k SF electronics test center and engineering/failure analysis labs totaling 20k SF +.• 5S implementation (Japanese system to improve manufacturing productivity through workplace organization) 2005-2007I was a member of the 5S steering committee working with them and the manufacturing community to implement 5S principals within the Tucson MAKE organization. My primary responsibilities were to develop and maintain the Tucson MAKE 5S website and assist in modifying the corporate implementation guidelines to fit the Tucson manufacturing facility and culture.• In addition to the above responsibilities I provided a majority of the waferfab, assembly manufacturing, test center and engineering lab equipment and space designs plus various remodeling designs for their 4 office/engineering buildings from 1996 to 2007. These projects included:2005-2007 - The installation of the eagle, EGI, ESI laser probe/final test tool sets.1998-2005 - The remodel of office spaces in buildings 1, 2, 3, & 7 including a 1.2k SF data center in building 7.1996-2000 - The wafer fab 4” to 6” tool set conversion in their 30k SF class 100 cleanroom.

I have extensive experience in high tech manufacturing facilities.For forensic MEP engineering consultants I provide engineering illustrations for your client. I work from photographs, video, engineering drawings and insurance investigation documentation to create concise but simplified exhibits to clearly explain complex engineering concepts for jurors and legal professionals.I own the latest AutoCAD 2017 Architectural/MEP/Structural and Revit Architectural/MEP/Structural software. I’m operating these on a high performance HP engineering workstation with three 24” high definition flat panel monitors. This software and hardware combination enables me to manage various sized design and drafting projects in both 3D and 2D.

Since 1999 I have been providing ACS with illustrations in support of Bill Acorn's forensics analysis. I have provided a variety of engineering forensics illustrations for LGI. These have involved both 2D and 3D CAD drawings. For some projects photographs and additional information have been integrated in to the drawings to support the illustrations.

I developed AutoLisp programs that would allow their estimators to create areas with a drawing and define materials. The estimating information was extracted from the completed drawing and exported to an Excel file in order to calculate quantities, cost and generate a completed order form.Length of service: 270 hours

I created the fabrication, installation, and patent drawings for the Goddard lift kit and Goddard flap and aileron gap seal kit developed by Airborne Research.This project involved reverse designing the prototype components for these kits. I provided supplemental mechanical systems CAD drafting for their high tech manufacturing facilities design projects.Length of service: 120+ hours

I was hired by the director of operations to manage a staff of 5 draftsmen in the corporate office. Part of my responsibilities was to provide CAD standards to improve the CAD department’s efficiency. My primary effort towards this goal was to implement the Softdesk MEP software for AutoCAD.Additional I moved the CAD operators out of the backroom into the main office in order to more closely associate them with the engineers and designers they were working with. This gave both teams the opportunity to understand each other’s challenges and needs to complete projects.

I created the construction manual for an ultra-lite home built kit. The ultra-lite was a scaled down model of a 1930's vintage biplane called the Staggerwing by Beach aircraft.The plane had been built from crude drawings and the owner, Doug Clarke, wanted detailed drawings to be included in the kit. I Developed and implemented the CAD standards for the facilities engineering department. The standards involved both CAD naming conventions and operational and network procedures.Length of service: 67 hours.

I managed the AutoCAD systems for 100+ architects and engineers in 4 branch offices and the corporate headquarters to include process and electronics standards, and specification of hardware and software. I developed the CAD and drawing production standards with the various engineering departments to accommodate large projects produced across their multiple branch offices. Several of these projects involved over a 1,000 sheets. I reported to the director of operations. 1991-1994.Prior to my promotion to corporate CAD manager I was the electrical department’s CAD coordinator. I developed and wrote the AutoLISP menu system for the department’s AutoCAD software to automate and standardize drafting. This menu system remained in use for several years. In this position I reported to the department manager. 1988 – 1991.

This position was in the very early days of AutoCAD. It was my first with a company who had just purchased their first CAD station. I hadn't yet completed my courses at the technical school where I was attending to learn AutoCAD. This was a classic blind leading the blind circumstance but we both learned a lot.I provided the owner of the company both proposal presentations and installation drawings for the waste water heat reclamation equipment they manufactured. I Created drawings from hand sketches and job site photographs.
