• Review, present and develop all new prospects and exploration and productionopportunities for additional capital investment to management.• Acquisition and divestment of non-operated working interests, mineral interests, leasesand overriding royalty interests in company focused areas of development and interest.• Review, manage, draft and prepare all contractual agreements from inception throughexecution.• Responsible for land management of all company oil and gas assets in the Arkoma andAnadarko Basins (Oklahoma and Kansas). Report and update management on capitalexpenditures for all non-operated interests. Review and report on leasehold and ensuretimely payment of rentals. Division order review and execution.• Negotiate all exploration agreements, purchase and sale agreements (acreage and welltrade), farmout agreements and other oil and gas agreements.• Develop, direct and lead all field broker efforts including leasing and creation anddevelopment of new prospects and necessary due diligence.

• Land responsibilities and management for all company operated and non-operated assetsin multi-state region including Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. Areas offocus included San Juan Basin, Uinta Basin, Permian Basin and Arkoma Basin.• Negotiate exploration agreements, well trades, farmout agreements, acquisition of mineraland non-operated working interests, IRS 1031 exchanges, confidentiality agreements andother related oil and gas agreements.• Marketing and divestment of in-house developed prospects and company wells andleasehold including $3.8 million in divestitures.• Managed feasibility, evaluation and acquisition of proprietary 3-D seismic optionagreements covering 17,000 acres.• Draft, prepare and review oil and gas leases, extensions, joint operating agreements (JOA),JOA elections, declarations of pooling, communitization agreements, surface use and rightof-way agreements.• Management of planning for infill drilling, pipelines (oil, gas, produced water), accessroads, electrical and related oversight for drilling programs.• Managed attorneys, brokers, techs with regard to title flow, opinions and curative fordrilling programs and company acquisitions. Calculation of working and revenue interestsand review of division orders to ensure correct and timely payment of royalties.• Lead weekly meetings to update company management regarding all company landinitiatives in my areas of operation and management.• Review and advise company on federal and state regulations with regard to the lesserprairie chicken, sagebrush lizard and other environmental concerns and their impacts onplanned and ongoing development of company operated and non-operated assets.• Review, update and execute upon all fee, state and federal leasehold obligations. Ensuredtimely rental payment schedule was maintained. Manage bidding and acquisition ofadditional state and federal leasehold.

• In-house and field land-related activities for E&P company clientele including mineral rightsresearch, ownership identification, runsheet creation and curative of title and deck defects.• Meet with clients to assess, strategize and discuss potential solutions to title defectsdiscovered and reported during due diligence process.• New lease negotiation, reporting and analysis and successful extension of existingleasehold. Mapping, reporting and management of leasehold.• Review agreements and leases to identify preferential rights to purchase, consentrequirements, Pugh clauses and other obligations of concern.• Calculate working and net revenue interests in producing properties.• Review of production and operational histories for lease maintenance obligations.• Interaction with various governmental agencies for permitting, surface and generalcompliance issues regarding right of way and surface concerns.
