I decided to take a pause from comedy in 2018.Some people are naturally able to treat everything with an equal irreverence, and I guess on some level I wish that I could too. Ultimately though, I suspect making a career of jokes isn't a useful emotional framework to incentivise for me long term.I'm not ruling out going back though, you always need a plan B just in case 'independent musician' isn't a lucrative life for some unforeseeable reason.
