As Managing Director at Parkside Investments, Chris has an extensive background with portfolio management and design, including publicly traded stocks and bonds, and private equity, real asset and hedge fund investments. He is especially adept at assessing investment risk and how this may affect retirement planning, cash flow planning, trust/estate issues, and charitable giving. Chris' other responsibilities include business development, client management, and fostering a culture of teamwork.Chris focuses on building multi-generational relationships with family members, spending extra time to understand how he and Parkside can add value in each relationship. The approach starts with a blank pad of paper and honest, open dialogue about a family’s values, vision and cultural expectations, and what to prioritize going forward. Chris takes time to identify financial and non-financial goals, unique frustrations and concerns, and what has and hasn’t worked in the past in order to provide insight and guidance for maintaining a family’s legacy.Chris has advised clients including high net worth families, family offices, corporate retirement plans, and not-for-profit foundations. As a small business owner himself, he provides insightful advice and practical application to CEO’s, senior executives and rising executives on a broad spectrum of topics related to their wealth. With a core belief of “continue to build client trust”, investing his own capital alongside his client’s capital comes quite naturally.Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College and his MBA in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis.
