I was responsible for the various backend services that power the platform - from the main RESTful API, databases, caching layers, to media transcoding pipelines, microservices, and third-party tool integrations.• Took the lead in architecting, scoping and implementing back-end services for major product features.• Proactively improved system stability by identifying and addressing critical platform performance issues• Conducted thorough evaluations of third-party tools and built proof-of-concept implementations to assess feasibility and find potential risks.• Successfully refactored and simplified the legacy billing system, enabling support for multiple payment providers and in-app purchase platforms.
