As an Optical Assistant my responsibilities were to provide the highest standard of customer service within the team environment by providing patients assistance with frame and lens selection, assisting them with enquiries regarding their eye care needs and performing repairs and maintenance on their spectacles. The position also supported the optometrists and encompassed daily administrative tasks as well as the additional requirements for extensive use of technical expertise and the critical element of the sales of Specsavers products and service capabilities of the business.

Responsible for training new Crew and checking that all procedures and standards were followed. Constantly demonstrated a commitment to McDonald’s high standards and encouraged those who displayed skills and determination to succeed to advance their career through the McDonalds business units
