Its my mission to match them with the correct PPE to their job.For over 30 years, I have worked in the safety industry in various capacities. Early in my career as a safety equipment distributor rep, then as an independent rep and for the last 20 yrs as manufacturer’s rep. In every role, I’ve had the opportunity to convey my knowledge of OHSA’s regulations and my experience of learned best practices. I’ve evaluated hazards, consulted with managers, surveyed users and trained both on proper use & limitations of PPE. In the end applying the appropriate PPE or avoiding hazards altogether is the way I connect and protect others. Today, I am focused solely upon the mission of those in the Municipal Fire Community. Career or volunteer, they’re committed to their community to perform at their best, on days when their customers need them most.The Personal Safety Division at 3M is committed to the mission of improving the lives of others. The 3M/Scott Fire & Safety division designs, engineers and manufactures the most durable, reliable and advanced Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus for Fire & Industrial markets in the United States. We design, engineer and manufacture products in 1 location near Charlotte, NC. In fact, our NFPA approved X3 Pro SCBA is the only SCBA certified as “Made In USA”. We’re proud of our work and what we do for the US Fire Service.
