Founder of the restarted and restructured International Relations Organization at Virginia Tech Responsible for guiding the IRO@VT in their mission of finding realistic, applicable, solutions to critical world issues through research, debate, and simulations. Currently, I serve as President Emeritus for the organization.

-Trained in the following military procedures: conducting foot and vehicle patrols, reacting to armed and unarmed contact, setting up and maintain traffic and security control points, personnel search techniques, urban room and building clearing operations, area and facility defense. -Subject Matter Expert with multiple weapons, ranging from the M9 pistol to the M2 Browning .50 Caliber machine gun and ITAS TOW missile launcher.-Certified as a Common Remote Operated Weapons System (CROWS) Operator.-Assisted in the training of the Oklahoma and Florida National Guards in preparation for their deployments to Afghanistan.

-Served as Administrative Manager for a 75-120 person company with supervisory responsibility for three employees. Conducted interactive monthly evaluations, oversaw professional development, and provided on the job training.-Responsibilities included team management, processing and filing all paperwork related to the organization’s employees, creating and maintaining databases, and compiling all necessary information into weekly presentations to higher management. -Held the position of Key Control Administrator, during which time I was responsible for bringing the security program back into compliance with regulation. As a result over $100 million worth of weapons and equipment was able to be properly safeguarded and stored. Passed multiple inspections with top scores during this time. -Held position of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Administrator, responsible for ensuring readiness of soldiers to react to CBRN threats through training and proper use of equipment. Signature responsibility for over $100,000 of protective and chemical detection equipment.

-Trained by the U.S. Shooting Academy on the personal protection of a single individual through the use of a five-man team. This emphasized moving through an urban environment on foot, and the entry and exit of the individual from vehicles to safe rooms in a building. -Handpicked out of over one hundred applicants to serve as part of the Personal Security Detachment for a Major General (two star).
