I am currently serving as the Development Director for the City of Miamisburg, Ohio. As such, I'm ultimately responsible for all aspects of economic development, planning, zoning, building permitting, building inspection, and code enforcement . I have a great group of dedicated staff members that work hard to provide a high level of customer services to our citizens while providing these important services. This allows me to focus my time on business retention and expansion. I'm fortunate to have the opportunity to visit with a multitude of great companies in the City to discover all of the great products and services they produce/provide. In doing so, I do what I can to assist them with issues that may be keeping them from growth and prosperity. At the end of the day, I enjoy building relationships with out corporate community in a way that strengthens the partnership between business and local government.I Graduated from the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning at the University of Cincinnati in 1998 with a degree in urban planning.Specialties: Economic Development, Historic Preservation, Land Use Planning, Development Review, and Zoning

Responsible for all aspects of Economic Development for the community by fostering job creation and retention by providing assistance to existing local companies as well as potential prospects interested in locating in Miamisburg. Currently also filling the roll of City Planner which includes zoning administration, site plan review, downtown redevelopment, and community development activities.Manage the Development Dept. and Building Inspection Dept. and a staff of 7 employees.

I had a wonderful opportunity to represent the planning profession in the Miami Valley at the state level as part of the Ohio Planning Conference Board of Directors. This is a great organization striving for better planning and policy creation throughout the State of Ohio

Market research firm focused on the senior housing industry. I performed GIS mapping and demographic data analysis for market research and construction feasibility projects throughout the country.
