Graduated with an Applied Computer Science degree and a Computer Networking minor from Southeast in 2003. Currently the general manager of Big River Communications, and Vice President of Circle Fiber headquartered in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. As a Cape Girardeau native, I joined Big River Communications in 2009, and currently oversee the daily operations of Big River Communications’ retail segment, primarily focusing on their sales division. In 2021 Big River launched a division focused on a Fiber to the Premise network called, Circle Fiber, to which I serve in the role of Vice President. Prior to Big River Communications and Circle Fiber, I was the IT Director, for a McDonald's restaurant franchisee. During my tenure there, I was responsible for all technology and electronics related decisions for eleven McDonald's restaurants and helped pioneer an industry, by launching and managing the nation's second franchisee owned Customer Order Center. This allowed for remote order taking of the restaurants’ drive through lanes.In addition to working at Big River Communications, I have been a budding entrepreneur and have launched three businesses; Broadway Biergarten, a local craft beer bar, Codefi, Cape Girardeau’s first co-working space and technology incubator, and Franchise Automation Systems, a software as a service company, that allows for remote management and tracking of work orders.I stay actively involved in the community by being a 2010 graduate of the Leadership Cape program, former member and chair the Chamber Young Professional committee, past president of the Cape Girardeau chapter of the Missouri Jaycees, and an former executive board member of Old Town Cape. My passion for my alma mater is expressed through a love of service, by currently serving as an elected member of the Board of Directors for the Southeast Missouri State University Alumni Association, as well as being a previous Board Member of Southeast’s Redhawks Club.
