UA-ARC provides the bridge for UA faculty researchers to obtain government contracts at the classified level; a level they cannot achieve at the UA. This broadens the opportunities for faculty researchers to pursue. The UA-ARC also assists government and industry partners to identify qualified researchers in both classified and unclassified areas of research needed to solve some of the most demanding challenges. The UA-ARC is the contractor of record for the customer, keeping the University of Arizona compliant in all capacities with classified research. I am responsible for finding opportunities, assisting in writing proposals and winning contracts for our UA faculty researchers to perform.
