Manager of an outdoor stand that is located directly on the New Jersey beach. Customers speak directly to me about rental prices, and I coordinate with them to find suitable products. While working I am completely independent. I have been given a copy of the company keys for all stands, and open and close independently on all work days. A typical day amounted to $500-$700 in company revenue. I am solely responsible for ensuring all of that money (petty cash) is properly accounted for, stored safely, and transported to various locations. In addition, working with the general public has improved my ability to conflict-resolve & deescalate, if need be.

This was the first job I held as a young teenager. Responsibilities included opening the store independently, transporting petty cash from a safe into registers, reviewing voided transactions, and ensuring the store remained organized.I particularly enjoyed becoming familiar with the niche & specialized products the store offered. While costlier, learning about them allowed me to effectively introduce, showcase, and sell the products.
