-- In May 2024, Chris joined FOX19 WXIX (Gray) Cincinnati as News Director.-- In July 2024, WHAS11 received the Emmy for "News Excellence" from the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). This honor was for content produced in 2023, during Chris' tenure as News Director. This was the second consecutive year Chris & WHAS11 received this special honor.-- WHAS11 received the regional Edward R. Murrow Award for "Overall Excellence" in May 2024 (for content produced in 2023, while Chris served as ND).-- Chris was named News Director at WHAS11 (TEGNA) Louisville in August 2021. In 2022, Chris took part in TEGNA’s “Leadership in Action” training initiative.-- Prior to his move to Louisville, Chris was News Director at WVEC in Norfolk, VA. He was also News Director at WRGB-TV in Albany, NY, WISN-TV in Milwaukee & WMTV in Madison.-- In 2019, WRGB received several honors, including the prestigious National Murrow Award for "Continuing Coverage." CBS6 also received a regional Edward R. Murrow award for "Breaking News." -- In 2019, WRGB was awarded "Outstanding Evening Newscast" and "Outstanding Election Coverage" by the New York State Broadcasters Association, and top "Newscast" from the New York State Associated Press Association.-- In 2018, WRGB CBS6 was awarded the Emmy for “Daytime Newscast” from the New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS).-- During his time at WISN, the station earned numerous awards for journalistic excellence. Those awards include back-to-back wins for “Station of the Year” and “News Operation of the Year” by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association (2016, 2015). WISN received five regional Edward R. Murrow Awards – including “Overall Excellence” (2014). The station was also honored with a Midwest/Chicago Emmy for Evening Newscast (2015). -- Chris is a member of the RTDNA: Radio Television Digital News Association.-- Chris participated in the Carole Kneeland Project: 2009 New Media Leadership Forum: Leading Journalists in the Digital Era in October 2009.
